The Hope School Board had a special meeting on Monday. The items on the agenda included food service, student disciplinary action and personnel matters.
For the food service provider, five bids were received total and the committee looked at each to see how much service they would provide. A clear winner was Chartwell’s, which although being a higher bid was within the acceptable range. Deanna Gilbert made the recommendation, which was approved by the board.
Next was a student disciplinary hearing with the recommendation that the student receive a diploma but not be able to attend the graduation. The motion passed.
A personnel packet was read and voted on, closing out the meeting.
